Brainwashing our children.
An article in the Daily Mail, ‘Brainwashing of our children’ claims that Britain’s schools are force-feeding pupils politically correct dogma about sexuality, climate change and British history. It gives examples such as the 11 year old girl who spoke to her grandfather about her future marriage plans ‘whether it is to a man or a woman.’ She has obviously been well indoctrinated at school that homosexual marriage is an equally valid option to marriage between a man and a woman. Not to believe this would cause great offence to homosexuals. Another example is the child from a Church of England school who kept saying ‘Peace be upon him’ every time she mentioned Mohammed. When asked why, she said ‘That is what we were taught to say in RE.’ Not to say this would cause offence to Muslims.
The article goes on to focus on the ‘Gendered Intelligence programme’ (promoting transexuality) in which a speaker called Jay invites children to question their sexual identity by asking them what it means to be ‘girlish’ and ‘boyish’. ‘Some of them are as young as four: can you imagine what a shock it is for them when he reveals that he is a ‘transgender man’ who happened to have been ‘assigned female at birth’? Increasingly children are expressing confusion about their sexual identity as the latest phase of indoctrination focuses on transgenderism and the rights of those who choose to change from being men to women and women to men.
At a nursery school in Turnham Green, West London, three-year-olds too young to read or write are required to sign an agreement in which they promise to ‘be tolerant of others whatever their race, colour, gender, class, ability, physical challenge, faith, sexual orientation or lifestyle and refrain from using racist or homophobic or transphobic language’.
The article describes how a uniformly left wing world view is being promoted. Just before the election one school was accused of having told its children that Labour ‘is the only party that wants us to live’, and of having asked its ten-year-old pupils to write essays on why people should vote for Ed Miliband. ‘Global warming and environmental issues at the top of the agenda for opinion making. Nowhere, perhaps, is the march of the Mind Police more evident than in the way virtually the whole curriculum has been hijacked by environmental issues. A popular revision guide for GCSE English gives this example of a ‘boring’ sentence that may receive ‘zero marks’: ‘Global warming is a bad thing.’ And this as a ‘much better sentence’: ‘Global warming is a very serious and worrying issue.’ Then there’s the Climate Cops initiative in schools in which children were given police officer-style notebooks so that they could ‘book’ themselves, their friends or family members if they saw them wasting energy or performing ‘climate unfriendly’ acts.
One teacher writes ‘Geography was about saving rainforests, recycling and instilling guilt about how humans are ruining the Earth. In literacy, there was very little focus on grammar or spelling. For history, we’d use a textbook with made-up quotes from historical figures, telling us how bad the British Empire was. Tradition is seen as the enemy of a future where everyone is equal, all shall have prizes and everyone should embrace the glorious new order of the enlightened, progressive Left. If the latter sounds like a form of cultural Marxism, that’s effectively what it is. Anyone who dares to challenge these views will be a social outcast.’
The results of this are being seen in what is happening in our universities. According to another article in the Daily Mail, ‘Britain’s students: the new fascists?’, ‘Britain’s universities have changed. They’ve turned from citadels of intellectual inquiry into sprawling camps of conformism, where anyone who dissents from what is decreed to be the correct thought processes will be cast out into the academic darkness. Our colleges are now stuffed not with bright-eyed students keen to discuss any ideas, however radical, but proselytising zealots who will hound off campus anyone that offends their politically correct sensibilities. They spend their time constantly on the lookout for thinkers or books or even pop songs that blaspheme against their right-on ideology.’ Even radical feminist speakers who question transgender rights are being banned from speaking lest they cause offence.
Causing offence is the ultimate sin in this new ‘group think’. Here are some views which it considers deeply offensive.
- Jesus meant it when He said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me.’ Therefore there is the one way to God and people of all faiths and none should repent and believe the Gospel, that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again from the dead. Very offensive to atheists, Muslims, Hindus and nominal Christians.
- Israel has a right to exist and to defend itself against those who attack it and wish to wipe it out. Very offensive to Muslims and pro Palestinian groups (who are all very active and vocal in universities).
- Marriage is between a man and a woman. Homosexual acts are sinful in the eyes of God. If you are born male, be a man and if you are born female be a woman. Very offensive to homosexuals, transgenders and their supporters.
Strangely it does not matter how offensive you are to Bible believing Christians. They should put up with being vilified and ridiculed, because their views are offensive and should be banned altogether (and probably will be before too long).
Children asked to ‘define their gender.’
Parents have expressed concern after schoolchildren were asked how they would ‘define their gender’ as part of a government survey. The survey was developed by the Office of the Children’s Commissioner for England for pupils between 13 and 18. It was distributed throughout schools in Brighton and Hove. The responses, the questionnaire stated, could ‘be used in Government reports, presentations and publications’.
As part of the questionnaire, children were asked to choose from 22 ‘gender types’, or given the additional options ‘not sure’, ‘rather not say’ and ‘others, please state’. ‘Gender types’ listed included ‘gender non conforming’, ‘tri-gender’ and ‘gender fluid’. The children were also asked whether they felt safe in single-sex toilets, as well as whether they thought their school ought to have unisex uniforms.
Christian Concern’s Campaigns Director Andrew Marsh said that the questionnaire was part of a ‘fast-moving agenda…to rip up the landscape and the markers in the areas of gender and sex – gender identity – and to redraw the map completely’.
Genetically modified embryos.
Despite widespread objection, UK scientists have been given permission by The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) to genetically modify human embryos within the first week of life. Dr Kathy Niakan applied to the HFEA for permission to conduct research that, she claims, will dramatically improve IVF success rates.
Although genetic modification of human embryos, which involves manipulation of DNA, is legal in the UK, scientists need a license to perform it. The HFEA has granted permission for the research to take place for the first time in the UK at the Francis Crick Institute in London, with experiments beginning within the next few months.
Christian Concern has joined scientists and leading medical experts in speaking out against this type of experimentation, with concerns that this could eventually lead to ‘designer babies’. Due to its numerous ethical issues, this practice is banned in many countries. The experiments will take place in the first seven days of a human embryo’s life.
The week-old human embryos, after being experimented on, would then be destroyed. Although it will be illegal for scientists to implant the embryo into the woman, there are concerns that initial experimentation will lead to this in future. In addition to the concern that this practice may open the door to ‘designer babies’, the consequences of permanently altering DNA, which would be passed down to future generations, are not known.
Christian Concern’s chief executive, Andrea Williams, said that this decision has crossed a ‘dangerous’ ethical line, disregarding the preciousness of life. ‘To experiment on and then destroy human embryos – lives at their beginning – completely undermines the truth that life is sacred,’ she said. ‘The Bible reveals to us our value, as it shows us that we are known before we are formed, and that we are created with intentionality and purpose. This kind of experimentation, which involves not only the manipulation of human life but its destruction, disregards that beautiful truth. In making this decision, the HFEA has crossed a dangerous line, with no knowledge of the future consequences.’
Mindfulness is increasingly becoming the relaxation method of choice, used not only by individuals but by employers and health services. Despite claims that the practice, which involves being still and focusing on one’s breathing and thoughts, can help to tackle stress and depression, critics have attested to its negative effects – suggesting that it is not simply a harmless way to unwind.
Dr Peter Jones of truthXchange has spoken about the Buddhist roots of mindfulness, explaining that the process of meditation, which effectively silences the conscience, actually creates a mindset ‘very opposite to the Christian faith’. Studies have also shown that mindfulness can cause adverse effects. In 1992, one researcher, David Shapiro of the University of California, Irvine, found that 7% of those who practiced mindfulness experienced serious negative reactions, such as panic and depression.
Christian thinkers have argued that the problems with mindfulness are linked to its roots in pagan religions. Dr Joe Boot has explained that at the heart of mindfulness is the Buddhist teaching of ‘cessation’, ‘in which mental afflictions are removed because the illusion of the ‘self’ is uprooted’. ‘There is no true ‘I’,’ he writes, ‘and this realisation liberates us from any sense of sin, shame, fear or even desire.’ He explains that mindfulness ultimately cannot offer true peace, because it does not deal with the core ‘human problem’ of sin.
‘Our minds are not fragments of pure consciousness, but each an individual aspect of created spiritual reality, embodied in the human person. Our problems are not only metaphysical – that we are alienated from pure consciousness. The human problem is moral. Our problem is sin.’
Wholeness of mind, Dr Boot argues, is found instead in the salvation offered by Christ and the redeeming nature of his love: ‘The cure is in facing ourselves and our sins, and by repentance and faith being reconciled to God. In fellowship with God through Jesus Christ, the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, where perfect love casts out fear. The rule of God in our lives is productive of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, who is with us forever.’
Should Christians evangelise Muslim migrants?
The Evangelical Church of the Rhineland (ECR) has claimed in a position paper that trying to evangelise refugees is un-Christian: ‘A strategic mission to Islam or meeting Muslims to convert them threatens social peace and contradicts the spirit and mandate of Jesus Christ and is therefore to be firmly rejected,’ said the Evangelical Church of the Rhineland in a paper entitled ‘Pilgrim Fellowship and Witness in Dialogue with Muslims’. The Evangelical Church of the Rhineland (ECR) is one of twenty Lutheran, Reformed and United Protestant groups that make up the Evangelical Church (Evangelische Kirche) in Germany (EKD). According to the most recent figures, 23 million Germans are part of EKD, whose numbers have consistently declined in recent years. (Note: the word ‘evangelisch’ in German signifies Protestant as opposed to Roman Catholic and does not necessarily mean that the church has an evangelical theology as we understand it in English).
The German Evangelical Alliance secretary general Hartmut Steeb made a firm and sharp rejoinder to the ECR statement, insisting instead that evangelism would remain an essential part of the response to refugees. ‘We declare firmly that the fundamental missionary task of Christians, namely to preach the Gospel of Jesus to others and invite them to follow it and cannot be given up.’
There are challenges for those who would wish to evangelise Muslim refugees. One thing that complicates the issue is that Muslim refugees have a political incentive to convert. In at least two countries the asylum seekers are fleeing – Iran and Afghanistan – converting to Christianity from Islam is punishable by death. Refugees may wager that they’re less likely to be sent back to their birth countries should they convert. That may well leave some churches inundated with false converts.
Nevertheless many see the refugee crisis as an amazing opportunity which has ‘brought the Muslim world to our doorstep.’ The Consortium of Evangelical Missions told its members, ‘We have today the unique opportunity to introduce Jesus to countless people right here who have not yet heard the Good News.
Hazel Torres for Christian Today gave the example of Silas, a 25-year-old Iranian man who was reported by Charisma News to be one of these converts. When asked what really prompted him to change religion, Silas said his spiritual transformation came after he read the Bible that a friend lent to him. ‘When I started to read the Bible, it changed me. At first, I didn’t want to be a Christian, I just wanted to understand it. But the more answers I got, the more I realised I was finding God,’ he said. He said even if he were to be deported back to Iran, he would never give up his faith in Christ. Jesus changed his life, and he will pay any price to serve Him now, he vowed.
Gottfried Martens, a pastor in Berlin, said as a result of the conversions, churches all over Germany that used to suffer from declining membership are now seeing remarkable growth. In his own congregation alone, Martens said he used to minister to just 150 members. But now he said the church already has more than 600 parishioners and more new converts are joining the congregation. Martens described the number of conversions as nothing short of a ‘miracle.’
The Haus Gotteshilfe Lutheran church in Berlin has become one such hive of activity catering to Afghans, Kurds, and Iranians wanting to learn the Bible. Haus Gotteshilfe now runs Bible classes and baptism preparation attended by some 60 refugees, and Sunday services have grown so crowded that the congregation has decided to add a Persian-language service. Rosemarie Götz of the church reflected: ‘I would never have thought that I’d be teaching the Bible to Persians.’
Similar things are happening in some churches in Sweden. At St. Clara’s church in central Stockholm, Sunday services are now translated into Farsi. The refugees, in turn, boost service attendance. Reverend Dan Sarkar, the local vicar there, warns every new participant: ‘Being here won’t improve your chances of getting asylum. On the contrary, if you convert and are rejected for asylum you will face extreme problems when you leave Sweden. Anybody who doesn’t agree with the conditions should leave the class,’ Sarkar tells his pupils. So far, only one has.
It is clear that such refugees are now free to exercise a choice that could cost them their lives back where they came from, and that the door is wide open for them to be converted with much less risk for those evangelising them. The refugee crisis is neither good for the refugees or the strain it puts on Europe. However, the opportunity to share with tens of thousands of Muslims who would otherwise probably never hear the Gospel reminds us of the importance of this verse from Romans: ‘And we know that for those who love God, that is, for those who are called according to his purpose, all things are working together for good.’ (Romans 8:28).
In previous editions of this column I have drawn attention to the school survey developed by the Office of the Children’s Commissioner for England which asked children to choose from 22 ‘gender types.’ I also referred to the ‘Gendered Intelligence Programme being promoted amongst children. This encourages them to question their sexual identity and focuses on transgenderism and the rights of those who choose to change from being men to women and women to men
Now the Obama administration has issued a directive that every public school in the USA must provide transgender access to facilities, toilets and changing rooms included, or face the loss of federal funds. The letter was signed by officials at the Justice Department and the Department of Education. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said in a statement, ‘There is no room in our schools for discrimination of any kind, including discrimination against transgender students on the basis of their sex.’ Under the guidance, schools are told they must treat transgender students according to their chosen gender identity (rather than their birth identity as boys or girls).
The move was cheered by Human Rights Campaign, a gay, lesbian and transgender civil rights organisation, which called the guidelines ‘groundbreaking.’ ‘This is a truly significant moment not only for transgender young people but for all young people, sending a message that every student deserves to be treated fairly and supported by their teachers and schools,’ HRC President Chad Griffin said in a statement.
Governor Pat McCrory of North Carolina blocked this ‘bathroom law’ in his state, issuing a law requiring government employees to use public restrooms that correspond to their birth certificates. He has been told this puts him is in conflict with federal policy and violates the Civil Rights Act and received threats to strip his state of federal funding. Loretta Lynch said North Carolina was in ‘direct conflict with federal laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sex and gender identity’ and compared their action to racial segregation laws of the past.
Meanwhile New Yorkers have been told they can choose from a minimum of 31 different gender identities, many of which allow them to fluctuate between some version or combination of male or female identities. Businesses that don’t respect and accommodate an individual’s chosen gender identity risk incurring six-figure fines under rules implemented by the city’s Commission on Human Rights. The list of protected gender identities is available online and includes options such as ‘gender bender,’ ‘two spirit,’ ‘third sex,’ ‘androgynous,’ ‘gender gifted,’ and ‘pangender.’
Seth Hoy, the Human Rights Commission’s press secretary, said that the guidance was issued to ‘ensure that every transgender individual in New York City is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.’ Failure to comply with the new law, known as the NYCHRL (New York City Human Rights Law) could result in losing a job or being forced out of an apartment. It could also result in ‘civil penalties up to $125,000 for violations, and up to $250,000 for violations that are the result of willful, wanton, or malicious conduct.’
All of this is another sign of the antichrist society that is being engineered by the politically brigade who have now turned to imposing transgender rights on us, having by and large succeeded in their objectives regarding homosexuality. Genesis 5.1 tells us: ‘In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.’ Genesis 5.1. Confusion over sexual identity is another fruit of denying God as Creator who made us male and female, and stipulates that marriage is a relationship between a man and woman (and no other way). It is also a sign of the decadent society described in Romans 1.18-32 which is heading for the judgment of God.
Swiss Ceremony An Illuminati Ritual Intended To Honour Satan?
On June 1st, the long-awaited opening ceremony of the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland finally took place. It is the longest and the deepest railroad tunnel in the entire world, and it took 17 years to build. It is 35 miles long, and the construction of this unprecedented tunnel under the Alps cost more than €11 billion. It is built to speed up transport links between north and south Europe and help with the unification of the continent.
Prominent European politicians such as German Chancellor Merkel, Italian Prime Minister Renzi and French President Hollande were all in attendance, and they were treated to an incredibly bizarre opening ceremony that cost approximately €8 million to produce.
The ceremony featured a ‘goat-man’ that dies, is resurrected, is worshipped and is crowned as ‘the king of the world’. The ‘goat-man’ that played such a key role in this performance bore a striking resemblance to Baphomet, which in recent decades has become one of the key symbols used to represent Satan in the occult community. The best-known modern image of Baphomet was drawn in 1856 by the French occultist Eliphas Levi, in his book Transcendental Magic: Its Doctrine and Ritual. Levi’s drawing was the inspiration for the Satanic Temple’s new monument.
In modern times, Baphomet is well understood to represent Satan or the human embodiment of Satan. That is why the fact that this ‘goat-man’ was the central figure of this opening ceremony was so deeply disturbing. The first part of the ceremony was held underground. The ‘goat-man’ died, was resurrected and was worshipped during this portion of the performance.
The performance began with a cohort of miners dressed in orange jump suits, marching like zombies toward the tunnels entrance (depicted on a video screen). The miners were then seemingly sacrificed to the tunnel and emerged as veiled spirits (represented by dancers in underwear with white wedding veils), and an actor dressed as a goat sprung out and began ritualistically consuming and mating with the veiled dancers. The next scene shifted to pagan druid ceremony, with the actors now draped in black subdued clothing and adorning nests, plants and trees on their heads.
As the goat man lay on the floor an upside down tree was displayed on the video screen and the actors chanted a song in a mix of Ancient Germanic and Italian. The ceremony ends with the goat man being resurrected and worshipped as he is introduced to technology, industry and modern society — with many of the actors clothed as cross dressers, drifters and harlots.
The second part of the ceremony was conducted above ground, and once again the ‘goat-man’ took centre stage. Three workers hang in the air, apparently dead. The workers are replaced with three creepy ghosts. We then see them floating in front of a giant All-Seeing eye. Is the elite celebrating human sacrifice? While the goat-man runs around on stage, screaming like a possessed man, the big screen displays images of the goat-man looking extremely evil.
As people dressed in white bow down to the goat-man, a circle of eyes watches over them, confirming that this was one big, blatant, Satanic ceremony brought to you by the occult elite. At the end of the second portion of the ceremony, a woman drapes the ‘goat-man’ in white and says ‘you are now the king of the world’.
To sum this up: The central figure in this production was a ‘goat-man’ that bore a striking resemblance to Baphomet. In the occult world, Baphomet is often a symbol of Satan or the human embodiment of Satan. During the ceremony, the ‘goat-man’ dies. During the ceremony, the ‘goat-man’ recovers from his fatal wound. During the ceremony, the ‘goat-man’ is worshipped by everyone else. During the ceremony, the ‘goat-man’ is crowned as the ruler of the world.
Is it just me, or does that sound like it is a description of the one commonly known as the Antichrist?
For a very long time, global secret societies have conducted their dark rituals out of the view of the general public, but we appear to have entered a time when they are becoming much more bold. These days, we are seeing these sorts of ‘Illuminati rituals’ just about everywhere. We have seen them regularly at major awards shows, in music videos, in television shows and movies, and at the Super Bowl in the USA and the opening and closing ceremonies at the London Olympics in 2012.
So why do these same themes keep popping up over and over again? Darkness is rising, and it isn’t going to be satisfied until it has gripped the entire planet. And at this point the elite have become so bold that they aren’t even hiding what they plan to do to us anymore.

Church of England’s ‘shared conversations’ on homosexuality.
The Church of England spent a whole week of its General Synod meeting at York University holding ‘shared conversations’ on the future of LGBT (homosexual) rights within the church, aiming to tackle a rift on teachings on homosexuality. Andrea Williams of Christian Concern attended and reported on it. She wrote about the ‘shared conversations as an example of the way in which the church has ‘unashamedly drunk deeply from the cultural wells of moral relativity and undermining the Word of God. Its moral principles are shifting like sand and its contract with the culture is changing as social interests change. But the church is not a democracy, a social club, nor a political party that is called to be taking the temperature of culture to determine its course. It has one manifesto – Scripture – and one platform – the Lordship of Jesus Christ. St. Paul does not convene a Synod to discuss the merits of sexual immorality, greed, idolatry, slander, drunkenness in the church, he called people to repent and put out the unrepentant and offending parties (1 Cor. 5). … The ‘shared conversation’ process itself was an ill-conceived, pluralistic exercise that falsely placed LGBTI activism and the homosexual agenda on a level playing field with the plain teaching of Scripture and the historic teaching of the church which the bishops swore to uphold.’
When she sought to raise issues like, ‘How do we view the authority of Scripture? What is the gospel? What is truth?’ she was told she needed to express herself in terms such as ‘The way I see the truth is…’. In practice this meant accepting the relativistic view that ‘all truth is God’s truth’ and that morality is subject to the shared views of everyone present. In this case the view that homosexual activity is compatible with Christian practice is as valid as the view that scripture forbids it.
She goes on to write: ‘The scriptural perspective was powerfully set forth by a small minority on the platforms in plenary; but was always outnumbered by the revisionists, as is all too common. There was ‘passive aggressive’ hostility toward those trying to stand clearly for biblical teaching of the church. Terms such as homophobia and the acceptance of a ‘gay identity’ were givens; if you sought to challenge this you risked being branded a ‘bigot,’ ‘phobic,’ ‘unloving’. The outcome of the shared conversations was as many predicted; confusion, frustration, disappointment and division. The paucity of the biblical argument to support anything other than that of the Orthodox position was ignored. It was replaced by a simple appeal to secular norms. . At a time when what the church needs is clear leadership and biblical clarity we are confronted with the hand-wringing of leading bishops, with head shakes and hand-waving at the Christian Concern booth as though Jesus’ own words from the New Testament on Christian Concern banners in the lobby were offensive. Traditionally orthodox bishops are now refusing to ‘state their position’ and the rudder of the ship is being steered in the wrong direction.
Predictably, and as indirect proof of the tone of proceedings, as soon as the talks finished, a statement was issued by the LGBTI Mission coalition celebrating the ‘conversations’ and calling on the House of Bishops to ‘bring forward bold proposals to move towards LGBTI equality,’ which is a clear effort to bypass the Synodical process that would involve robust and potentially embarrassing debate and ‘disunity.’
I have participated in the shared conversations, but sadly I am left with little confidence that this process can prevent a sharp division. One vocal group in synod calls what is sin, holiness. Of course, we can and we must relate to one another in our shared humanity, but we can’t stay together if the church wants to bless what is not holy. The fundamental question at stake is whether the church belongs to Jesus Christ or whether it belongs to the revisionists who would reshape it in the image of today’s cultural moods. If the church is to flourish and be a true blessing to society, she must repent and rededicate herself to Jesus Christ, trusting his teaching, example and the rescue from sin that he freely offers. It is essential that the bishops, having heard all that has been said, provide true leadership and direct resolutely in the path of Jesus’ own teaching on marriage and sexuality. If not, then decline and irrelevance will be the hallmarks of the rebellious church. The church must call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and, that needs to begin with the Church of England herself, for ‘it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God’ (1 Peter 4:17).’
Pope’s message on Islam not getting through.
Pope Francis has been embracing Muslims as his brothers who worship the same God as he does, and calling on Europeans to tear down border walls and welcome Muslim migrants with open arms into their countries and into their homes. It seems his message is not getting through to Europe’s Catholics.
A senior Austrian Cardinal, who was widely tipped in the media to be the next pope before Francis was elected, has warned of an ‘Islamic conquest of Europe’ putting the Continent in danger. Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, the Archbishop of Vienna, said in a speech to mark the 333rd anniversary of the Battle of Vienna: ‘Will there be an Islamic conquest of Europe? Many Muslims want that and say: Europe is at its end.’ The Cardinal reportedly went on to pray: ‘God have mercy on Europe and on thy people, who are in danger of forfeiting our Christian heritage’. He added that this was already being felt ‘not only economically, but above all, in human and religious matters’. Cardinal Schönborn, 71, is a conservative who has been referred to as the ‘spiritual son’ of his one-time mentor, Pope Benedict XVI.
Bavaria, the most Catholic area of Germany, has come out against Muslim migration. Horst Seehofer, whose Christian Social Union is the Bavarian sister party of Angela Merkel’s conservatives, has condemned her open doors policy on migration and called for its reversal. Hungary, a strongly Roman Catholic country, has led the opposition to Muslim migration into Europe. Its Prime Minister, Victor Orban, has called this migration an affront to his nation’s ‘sovereignty, Christian roots and Western soul.’ The predominantly Catholic ‘Visegrad’ group of East European nations, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary are refusing to accept quotas of Muslim migrants as directed by the EU.
A new study in the US found that only 14 per cent of Catholics have a favourable view of Muslims. One in three said they had either very or somewhat unfavourable views, mainly because of Muslim persecution of Christians in the Middle East and involvement in terrorism. The report, entitled Danger & Dialogue: American Catholic Public Opinion and Portrayals of Islam, finds that nearly half of Catholics can’t name any similarities between Catholicism and Islam.
The problem for the Pope is that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is not the same God as the Muslim Allah. Allah was the moon god, one of the idols on the Kaaba stone in Mecca that Mohammed selected to be the one god of his new religion Islam. Islam has always been hostile to all forms of Christianity, both reformed and unreformed, and continues to be so. At the same time the God of the Bible has a number of issues with the Roman Catholic Church which Pope Francis will not resolve either, since the one group of people he has said he does not regard as his brothers are ‘fundamentalists’ – i.e. evangelical Bible believing Christians!
BBC promotes transgenderism.
The BBC has produced a number of programmes aimed at promoting transgenderism among primary school aged children, including ‘I am Leo‘ and its series ‘Just a Girl.‘ On 1st December the Victoria Derbyshire Programme told the story of ‘Jason’, a 10 year old girl who wants to be a boy. The child says: ‘I felt like a boy trapped in a girl’s body and it just really didn’t feel right, it was horrible. If I was to carry on living as a girl I don’t think I could do it.’ The child’s mother supported her wish to be a boy saying, ‘I think it’s really hard for a parent or anybody on the outside looking in to understand that they are trapped in the wrong body and that is how they feel and it’s like torture for them every day.’
The idea that children can be ‘trapped in the wrong body’ and therefore need to change their gender is now being promoted in the BBC, the Health Service and the education system. 120 children who identify as being transgender have had NHS treatment to pause their puberty over the last five years. ‘Jason’ ‘is one of the youngest. She is now having monthly injections of hormone blockers, which effectively and temporarily halt the progress of puberty. The treatment costs the taxpayer something like £1000 per month. The NHS has produced a ‘Guide to Hormone Therapy for Trans People’. The Guide makes clear that in addition to the hormone blockers, a child will need to take regular injections of the hormone appropriate to their ‘chosen’ gender.
Bob McCoskie of New Zealand’s ‘Family First’ reports that ‘the overwhelming majority of such children – from 75 to 98 percent – who experience gender dysphoria grow out of it by the time they reach puberty. The push in culture today to embrace and affirm such children’s wishes is founded more upon a political ideology than it is in careful science and experience.’ That political ideology is the antichrist and anti family agenda that is bent on destroying our society and denying the Biblical truth: ‘God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.’ Genesis 1:27.
