Coronation thoughts
The Coronation of King Charles III was outwardly very impressive and contained much that should have warmed the heart of a Christian, as prayers were made in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and two wonderful Bible readings from Colossians 1 and Luke 4 were broadcast to millions. The King responded ‘I will’ to the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Declaration of the Protestant Oath:
WILL you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the United Kingdom the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of England, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in England?
King Charles III – Coronation Oath

However God is not impressed with outward form but with inward reality.

Does King Charles really believe the oath he made? There are three major issues which need to be addressed.
Firstly what is the Protestant Reformed Religion that Charles has committed himself to? The Reformation was based on a move to reform Christianity, which had become corrupted by the Pope’s religion with its traditions and errors. It was an attempt to return to the Gospel of salvation through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, as given in the Bible. The famous 3 ‘solae’ – Latin for alone – were Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia, Sola Fides (“only scripture, only grace, only faith”). Faith in Christ alone as the sole mediator between God and man, based on the teachings of scripture, was the basis of Reformed theology. Sadly much of the visible ‘Protestant’ church world wide, Church of England, Church of Scotland, Lutheran Church, Methodist Church, Episcopal Church, has moved far away from this profession, with many disregarding the teachings of Biblical Christianity. Liberal theology, ecumenism and interfaith teachings have removed this base from much of the visible Protestant Church.

As a result the Church of England is facing a split between those who want a biblical Church based on Reformed Protestant theology (GAFCON) and those who accept the current trend of Canterbury and the Anglican Synod. The recent decision of the Synod to give God’s blessing to homosexual partnerships (and therefore say that homosexual practice is acceptable to the church) is leading to a split in the Church over this issue. The basis of this latter option is no longer the Bible, but a kind of Christianised humanism which will generally follow the dominant way of the world, not seek to change it.

King Charles can commit to maintaining the latter of these two options, but not the former. According to the book ‘The Prince and the Paranormal’ by John Dale, written in 1986:
‘There is evidence that deep inside himself the Prince is a super-ecumenist – someone who believes that each of the world’s religions including Christianity contains a relative truth rather than an absolute one.’
The Prince and the Paranormal by John Dale
In 1985 Charles said in an interview,
‘I think Jung makes a great deal of sense in many, many areas and particularly in what is written in the Bible and Indian religions, and in Islam, and many others … Definitely a pattern develops, where we are all ultimately trying to explore, to go along the same path, to answer the same questions. We all approach from different paths but ultimately the paths meet somewhere in infinity, and that’s the important thing.’
Prince Charles – Sunday Times 18/8/1985
This is the multi faith idea that every faith alongside Christianity contains a path to God (in other words, all gods are equal). It is the greatest challenge to evangelical Christianity today in countries like Britain. On current form it looks like Charles still holds to this belief. So how can he defend the truth of the Gospel which teaches the uniqueness of Jesus Christ and the one way to God through repentance and faith in Him (John 14.6)?
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14.6
On the Day of the Coronation an article appeared in the Spectator by Quanta Ahmed, ‘God Save our Islamophilic King’. She wrote:
‘Muslims in Britain and the world over will recognise, in King Charles, a monarch who is deeply Islamophilic. He has spoken about his attempts to learn Arabic in order to understand the Quran in its original script. He served as vice-patron of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and has spoken eloquently about Islam and the West, saying the links ‘matter more today than ever before’. My mother, who grew up in British India, loves to say that Charles III is essentially Muslim – her logic being one must first be a good Christian before one can be a good Muslim. It’s an axiom she remembers from the days of empire before we were being told that we are all engaged in a ‘clash of civilisations’. As Charles himself put it: ‘that which binds our two worlds together is so much more powerful than that which divides us’.’
Quanta Ahmed
However the teaching of the Koran denies the centrality of the Gospel message, that the Lord Jesus is Son of God, unique Saviour, who died for our sins and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. As a result Islam is the main persecutor of believing Christians in the world today.

Secondly we have Charles’ decision to give Camilla the title of Queen and include her in the coronation service. According to Jesus’ teaching on divorce and remarriage in Matthew 19.3-9, Charles’ present marriage to Camilla is illegitimate on the grounds of his previous adultery. Therefore, she has no right to the title of Queen.
3 The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
7 They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?”
8 He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”
Matthew 19.3-9
We note that once before Charles made a solemn vow before God and millions of people, in the marriage service of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. On that occasion he promised to be faithful to one wife, Diana, till death us do part. Even at the time of his wedding to Diana, he was seeing Camilla and wanting to be with her. This led to the subsequent marriage breakdown, because there were ‘three people in that marriage, so it was a bit crowded,’ as Diana put it in her famous TV interview.

Thirdly we have to ask about Charles’ climate change agenda that has got him involved with World Economic Forum and UN plans to work for world government. In her book ‘Prince Charles – the sustainable Prince’, Joan Veon writes,
‘Prince Charles has adopted a very radical environmental agenda that calls for a planned society, using the environment and sustainable development as the reason for the change in governance and freedoms.’
Prince Charles – the sustainable Prince by Joan Veon
He endorsed the pivotal World Economic Forum WEF conference in 2019 where its Chairman Klaus Schwab launched the ‘Global Reset’ agenda, calling for a total reorganisation of our society in order to resolve global crises, in particular the Covid pandemic and the threat of Climate Change.

At the COP 26 UN summit in Glasgow in November 2021 he urged world leaders to take urgent action to combat climate change, saying that time is running out. He called for
‘a vast military style campaign to marshal the strength of the global private sector, with trillions at his (or its) disposal far beyond global GDP, and with the greatest respect, beyond even the governments of the world’s leaders. It offers the only real prospect of achieving fundamental economic transition.’
Prince Charles COP26 message – 2021

Some have interpreted this as Charles making a reference to the coming antichrist as the one who will bring this to pass. Whether this was what he meant is debatable, but it is clear from this statement that he favours the investment of trillions of dollars in a programme aiming at the fundamental economic change of the present world system, as advocated by the WEF and the UN. Critics of this programme say it will result in the impoverishment of millions of people, the end of freedom and democracy and lead to a world government along the lines of Revelation 13 (and will do nothing to change the weather).

Now that Charles is King the constraints of his position as constitutional monarch may make it difficult for him to continue to campaign publicly on such matters. But it is unlikely that he will give up his involvement in the programme.
In an article in British Church Newspaper Tony Bennett wrote:
‘Charles admires Klaus Schwab and the W.E.F., with its one world government agenda. He supports that agenda. But an increasing number of his subjects wholeheartedly reject that agenda. The Bill of Rights is clear; our sovereigns must ensure that “no foreign prince, person, prelate, state, or potentate hath, or ought to have, any jurisdiction, power, superiority, pre-eminence, or authority, ecclesiastical or spiritual, within this realm”.’
British Church Newspaper Tony Bennett (Editor)
Will Charles use his position of influence to defend our nation from foreign powers that seek to destroy us, or collaborate with them? Your Majesty! Where are your loyalties? To us? – or to Klaus Schwab and his W.E.F. friends?
Good question. I did a full length talk on this subject which is available on Light for the Last Days website at https://rumble.com/v2mv2wi-coronation-thoughts.html and The Bridge CF website at www.bridgelane.org.uk YouTube site.
Trouble in Africa
The sudden outbreak of civil war in Sudan has probably put to an end the recent attempt to bring in a civilian democratic government in Sudan, after years of military dictatorship and cruel oppression and mass murder of people in Darfur and South Sudan.

It will also most likely mean the end of the agreement that took place on October 23, 2020, whereby Israel and Sudan agreed that they will normalise relations. This happened in the wake of Abraham Accord agreements between Israel and Gulf Arab states. Previously Sudan has been one of the most anti-Israel countries, sending troops to fight against Israel in previous Arab-Israeli wars.

All this likely to be lost in current civil war between two rival factions in Sudan’s ruling council battling for power. One of them, the Rapid Support Force, is responsible for well documented past war crimes – mass rape, massacres and torture. It has sent men from its 100,000-strong militia force to fight in the ongoing war in Yemen. It operates as a private army with links to Russia. The Russian Wagner group has supplied it with arms in return for which it is getting gold from Sudan. In February the Sudanese ruling military government concluded a review of an agreement with Russia to build a naval base on Sudanese territory on the Red Sea. Sudan is also heavily dependent on grain imports from Ukraine and Russia. 80% of its grain needs comes from this source, which is now endangered by the Ukraine war.

The territory of Sudan is equated with the biblical region of Cush. Note that Cush is part of the Gog Magog alliance that comes against Israel in the last days – Ezekiel 38.5.

There is also a US and Saudi involvement, with backing from the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, … 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.
Ezekiel 38.3-6
A US-funded research biolab backed by the WHO and Bill Gates’ GAVI vaccine alliance and the US government is based in Khartoum, supported by a variety US government agencies including the Department of Defence, Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. On Tuesday, 25 April, the WHO warned of an “extremely dangerous” situation that was created when the lab, was captured by fighters who have expelled the scientists working on it.

The lab contains polio vaccines, among others and there is a danger of pathogens escaping it and infecting the population. One could ask what are the WHO and US sponsors doing setting up a potentially dangerous biolab in such an unstable country?
On May 9th the International Organisation for Migration said that around 700,000 people have fled their homes to escape the fighting. If the civil war continues, it may produce thousands more refugees. Where can they to go? Will there be more pressure for European countries like our own to take in more refugees? Many are being ferried across the Red Sea to Saudi Arabia. Huge numbers of people are fleeing the Darfur region into neighbouring Chad, one of the poorest countries in the world.

The conflict could also destabilise neighbouring Egypt and Ethiopia. There is already danger of conflict between Egypt and Ethiopia over the huge dam Ethiopia is building on headwaters of Blue Nile. Egypt says this will decrease the flow of the Nile River, which it depends on, and has threatened to go to war to stop water being taken from river. Khartoum is the place where the two branches of the Nile come together.

Bible prophecy in Isaiah 19 speaks of crisis in Egypt in last days with waters of Nile drying up:
5 The waters will fail from the sea,
Isaiah 19.5-7
And the river will be wasted and dried up.
6 The rivers will turn foul;
The brooks of defence will be emptied and dried up;
The reeds and rushes will wither.
7 The papyrus reeds by the River, by the mouth of the River,
And everything sown by the River,
Will wither, be driven away, and be no more.
Prophecy also talks of the other great river of the world of the Bible, the Euphrates, drying up.
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.
Revelation 16.12
This is already happening.
Human implanted microchips back in the spotlight
Human implanted microchips are back in the news after biotech company Blackrock Neurotech, based in Salt Lake City announced this week it has already implanted brain chips in dozens of patients.
‘We are the only company with direct-brain BCI implants in humans,’
Marcus Gerhardt, Blackrock’s co-founder
Marcus Gerhardt, Blackrock’s co-founder told DailyMail.com.
‘Our implantable arrays have enabled people to connect directly to computers, control robotic arms and wheelchairs, play video games, even regain sensation – with just their brain signals.
Marcus Gerhardt, Blackrock’s co-founder
Multiple devices can be placed on the same person’s brain. After implantation, the chip detects electrical signals generated by the wearer’s thoughts. Machine learning software decodes these signals into digital commands such as cursor movements, which can be used to control prosthetics and computer equipment.

The company is now seeking FDA approval for devices built for use outside the lab and to be used at home. Tech mogul Elon Musk has also launched similar plans with Neuralink, an implantable device he hopes can be brought to market in the near future.

The use of microchip implants to biohack our body is nothing new and the applications are already numerous and growing. Today, more than 50,000 people have elected to have a subdermal chip surgically inserted between the thumb and index finger, to serve as their new swipe key, or credit card. Tech company Walletmor has developed a new app called Purewrist, which is a digital wallet combined with a microchip that can be installed in your hand. Once the chip is installed, a person can then use the app and chip to make payments to businesses that also use the app.

Walletmor’s chip is quite light and is only a bit bigger than a grain of rice and is composed of a microchip and an antenna, which is surrounded by biopolymer. The Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Wojtek Paprota claims that it is entirely safe and also has regulatory approval. Walletmor has priced the implant procedure at $299 and says the system can be used to make everyday, normal transactions.
The microchip does not need a battery to function nor does it need any other power source which makes it quite attractive to the users.
A 2021 survey conducted in the European Union and the United Kingdom came up with the result that at least 51 per cent of people will consider having a chip implanted in their body. On the other side of Europe Sweden has been rapidly expanding its use of microchip technology for quite some time with tens of thousands already microchipped. Notes and coins now make up less than 1 percent of Sweden’s economy which is ironic considering it was the first European country to issue modern banknotes, in 1661.
Microchip implants that give people the ability to conduct financial transactions, monitor their health (including vaccination status) and even replace keycards to allow them to enter offices and buildings are the new rage as thousands have already been implanted. Many technological enthusiasts believe this is the next logical step in a digital society that is quite happy to give up privacy for convenience. That convenience factor is a big reason commuters on the SJ Rail transit system have traded cash for chips.

Many Bible Prophecy experts believe each of these steps is taking us closer to global acceptance of a digital “mark” commonly called “The Mark of the Beast” that will merge technology and commerce with political and religious allegiance as described in the Book of Revelation, chapter 13.
14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 13.14-17
Most Christians recognize that current chip implants are not the actual “mark of the beast”, yet there is concern that acceptance of such technology is conditioning people for when the real one does come along. What often starts off as voluntary can just as easily become mandatory and whereas tech itself may be neutral, in the hands of the wrong person it could be extremely dangerous. Imagine the technology of today in the hands of Hitler.

There are also growing fears that an economic collapse and “currency reset” could bring about an era of forced digital cash that would be necessary to conduct commerce. Digital cash with biometric practicality would seem to make a perfect union for convenience and security.

Christians have long debated the meaning of the “mark of the beast”. Our generation, however, appears to be the first to have the technology to fulfil this prophecy.
Soon, you may have to answer the question: ‘would you get chipped’?
World On Cusp Of Woke Totalitarianism As Governments Act To End Freedom Of Speech
By Michael Shellenberger and Alex Gutentag
The Twitter Files gave us a window into how government agencies, civil society, and tech companies work together to censor social media users. Now, key nations are attempting to enshrine this coordination into law explicitly. Around the world, politicians have either just passed or are on the cusp of passing sweeping new laws, which would allow governments to censor ordinary citizens on social media and other Internet platforms.

Under the guise of preventing “harm” and holding large tech companies accountable, several countries are establishing a vast and interlinked censorship apparatus, a new investigation by Public finds. Politicians, NGOs, and their enablers in the news media claim that their goal is merely to protect the public from “disinformation.” But vague definitions and loopholes in new laws will create avenues for broad application, overreach, and abuse.
Governments aim for total control
In Ireland, for example, the government may soon be able to imprison citizens simply for possessing material that officials decide is “hateful.” Under the RESTRICT Act in the US, the government may soon have the authority to monitor the Internet activity of any American deemed a security risk.
Governments and allied NGOs intend to force tech companies to comply with their rules. UK lawmakers have threatened to imprison social media managers who don’t censor enough content. And Brazil has introduced severe penalties for platforms that fail to remove “fake news.”
Hate speech laws by country – Wikipedia
The key area of action is the European Union. It is seeking sweeping new powers to regulate social media companies. And if it acts, it may change how social media companies operate worldwide, given the EU’s economic power and influence globally. Under the EU’s Digital Services Act, large tech companies must share their data with “vetted researchers” from non-profits and academia, which would cede content moderation to NGOs and their state sponsors.

The US’s RESTRICT Act, sponsored by Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), threatens 20 years in prison or a $250,000 fine for accessing blacklisted websites through “virtual private networks,” or VPNs, which are ways to create a private connection between a computer or phone and the Internet.
There has been no moment similar to this one in the roughly 30 years of widespread public Internet usage in Western societies. Officials have introduced these policies mostly in the dead of night with little publicity or outcry. There has been a virtual blackout of what’s happening by mainstream news media corporations, with many appearing to support the new laws. As shown with the Twitter Files, the Censorship Industrial Complex is as much about discrediting accurate facts, true narratives, and content creators who threaten its power while boosting the ones that do.

We are thus witnessing the emergence of a governmental apparatus with the power to control the information environment in ways that determine what people believe to be true and what is false.
As such, it is no exaggeration to say that the West is on the cusp of a new and much more powerful form of totalitarianism than either Communism or Fascism, which were limited in their reach by geography. If we are to defeat it, we must understand it. Why are governments seeking to crack down on freedom of speech from New Zealand to the Netherlands and Brazil to Canada? Why now? And why are they getting away with it?

It’s now clear that
Media elites are seeking to turn this culture of informal self-censorship into formal government censorship. They call their legislation, which would destroy free speech, “pro-democracy” and “anti-hate.” But it is actually full of hate for the people who resist their takeover by trying to save genuine democracy and free speech. Wokeism has become a new grassroots religion. It demonises and scapegoats heretics, journalists, and truth-tellers. It demands sacrifices from ordinary people in the form of more expensive energy, the sterilisation of psychiatrically disordered children, and self-censorship.

Most troubling, they persuaded the leadership of the CIA, FBI, and NATO militaries to join them in using Woke fear-mongering campaigns to demand Internet censorship. It’s clear now that military and intelligence community elites feared that populist nationalism would undermine their ability to control the news media in the ways they had since World War II. And so they funded think tanks like the Atlantic Council to run Woke campaigns demanding censorship.

Elites used fear-based campaigns in order to demonise, scapegoat, and marginalise the people and institutions in society who opposed their demands to make energy expensive, replace meritocracy with structural racism, control the minds and bodies of children, and be able to engage in wars abroad.

Western civilisation may be nearing an end to be replaced with Woke totalitarianism. And it may be too late to stop government censorship. Elites have over-reached, in our view, and badly. But we must also make that apparent. As such, the most important thing we can do is shine a light on their demands for censorship since once they are debated openly, they will fail. We can’t resist formal censorship without resisting informal censorship in the workplace, in schools and universities, and online.
Well said, well researched, Biblically supported……. as always. Praying for you at LftLD. With thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus the Messiah for equipping you as a watchman for the edification of His body, and to share the gospel of salvation to those who need it.
Thank you Carolyn. May the Lord keep you in all your ways.
