According to the Bible this age will end with the coming to power of one known as the Beast or the Antichrist. In his second letter to the Thessalonians, chapter 2, the Apostle Paul described him in these terms:
‘The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.’
2 Thessalonians 2.9-12
The Antichrist will not come out of nowhere.
The way will be prepared for him by a number of ‘change agents’ who are bringing the ‘strong delusion’ on those who reject the truth found in the Gospel message. There are powerful people running our media, education system, political, commercial and religious institutions who are preparing the way for the coming deception.
These ‘change agents’ want to change the way people think and behave and what they believe, following the famous phrase of Karl Marx, ‘The philosophers have only interpreted the world, the point however is to change it.’
They want to change the world today, some with a new variant of Marxism or one of the other delusions which are coming on the world today. Whether they realise what they are doing or not, the ultimate aim is to bring people into subjection to a global government programme, otherwise known as the Global Reset, the New World Order or Agenda 30.
The goal is to bring this into being by 2030, by which time they hope to have control of politics, the media, education and religion and to use a new form of technocratic dictatorship to enforce this system. When it is finally in place dissenters will be threatened with social exclusion, arrest and death.
Over the past year there have been a number of ways in which people are being prepared for this in our society today. Here are three of them.
1. Use the Coronavirus crisis and the lockdown to get people to accept the need for drastic restrictions on freedom to go about one’s normal life, meet with people for fear of catching a virus which may kill you. Justify the harmful results of the lockdown by saying that this is the only way to save lives and a health catastrophe from overwhelming society. Then bring in mass vaccination coupled with some kind of control mechanism to see who is complying. Create hostility towards any dissenters from the programme who will be held responsible for anything going wrong in future.
2. Create fear of ‘catastrophic climate change’ bringing the end of civilisation unless we make radical changes to the way we live by cutting the use of carbon fuels on which we are presently dependent. Restrict the use fossil fuels, coal, oil and gas, which are relatively cheap, abundant and reliable and switch to unreliable green technology which will not be able to provide the power needed to keep our present system going (and much of it also contributes to the degradation of the environment). Take control of people’s ability to travel, heat their homes and feed themselves. Create an economic crisis, which together with the vast debts built up by the coronavirus crisis, will cause the collapse of western Capitalism and its replacement with a new economic system using technology to control people’s lives.
3. Cancel culture / Critical Race Theory. Use ‘diversity issues’ / Black Lives Matter and similar campaigns for minority rights to create a change in the culture. Claim that ‘systemic racism’ underlies the whole of western society and work to remove influences from the past that foster such attitudes. Replace these with a new Marxist based ‘diversity’ ideology that will control all areas of society. Biblical Christianity will be identified as something that needs to be cancelled in this process leading to the suppression of the preaching of the Gospel.
Many people are waking up to the fact that there is a huge amount of deception being pushed upon us, particularly by the Mainstream Media, the education system and much of social media. Those pushing this are a small minority who have managed to get extraordinary power to impose their will on the majority.
They are preparing the way for an antichrist dictatorship, one in which people will not be able to express publicly views which are out of line with those in power. Doing so will risk suppression, arrest, and even death.
