And if you see pictures of Mary in Roman Catholicism, you see her with the 12 stars around her head. But there are difficulties with it being Mary. Obviously, Mary did give birth to Jesus who clearly is the child who’s spoken of in verses 2 to 5. But if you go through the rest of the chapter, verses 6-17, it doesn’t make much sense if it’s talking about Mary.
